China's smartphone maker Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi
Note 7 smartphone in India. Realme has also launched Realme 3 after the launch
of Xiaomi. Both of these smartphones are available in less than Rs 10,000 and
are giving tough competition to each other. Oppo's subbrand realme is targeting the biggest market of Xiaomi and
Realme 3 attracting customer by aggressive pricing. The initial variant of
Realme 3 is cheaper than the basic variant of the Redmi Note 7. Let's see which
is better in both of these phones.
Due to aggressive pricing, Xiaomi has made the top position
in the smartphone market in 2018. Realme has given tough competition to the
company in this case. Two variants of Realme 3 have been launched. Out of these,
3GB + 32GB variants have been priced at Rs. 8,999 and 4GB + 64GB variants of
Rs. 10,999. On the other hand, if you look at Xiaomi's Redmi Note, its 3GB +
32GB model is available at 9,999 rupees and 4GB + 64GB model is available at Rs
11,999.
Lets talk about the features in details:
Display and processor
In the Redmi Note 7, the 6.3-inch Full HD Plus display is
provided with 1080x2340 pixels resolution and the 14nm based Qualcomm
Snapdragon 660 AIE processor is available. On the other hand, Realme 3 has a
6.2-inch display with HD Plus resolution. This phone has 12nm powered MediaTek
Helio P70 chipset.
Battery and design
In the Redmi Note 7, the battery of 4000mAh is charged with the Quick Charge 4.0, while there is a battery of 4230mAh in Realme 3. In Redme Note 7, 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 protection is provided, which also protects the back of the phone. Realme 3 has been rolled back with 3D-gradient finish with a diamond-cut design. Both the phones have been given the Waterdrop Notch design.
Camera and operating system
Speaking of the rear camera, the Redmi Note 7 has a 12MP +
2MP dual rear camera. There is also a dual camera setup in Realme 3, which has
13MP + 2MP sensors. Both the Redmi Note 7 and Reality 3 have been given 13MP
camera for Selfie. Redmi Note 7 and Realme 3 both run on both the Android 9.0
Pie Based OS.
Other add-on features
Both smartphones get the same value. Rear fingerprint sensor
and dual sim support is available in both. For MicroSD card, a hybrid slot is
given in the Realme 3 and Redmi Note 7. With the Realme 3 the buyers are being
given a screen protector and silicon case in the box. Both smart phone are available on Flipkart .
